Ah...Royalty

When I was little, I was always told my pedigree goes back to one of the ruling families of Bohemia.

During my family tree research I have never been able to find proof to this. As far as I can go back directly, I have about an assumed 4 generation gap, to get any where near a throne.

If this is truth, I don't know. However, it is fun to imagine sometimes, as a child again, what would it have been like if this was the case. Even better, being the eldest son, of the eldest son, what would I have ruled over, you know, what would have been my kingdom. Therefore, doing the best as I can put it together, here is what the official title of the ruler of Bohemia would have been at the height of power:

His Imperial and Apostolic Majesty,

By the Grace of God, Holy Roman Emperor, King of Hungary and Bohemia,

of Dalmatia, Croatia, Slavonia, Lodomeria and Illyria; King of Jerusalem etc., Archduke of Austria; Grand Duke of Tuscany and Cracow, Duke of Lorraine, of Salzburg, Styria, Carinthia, Carniola and of the Bukovina; Grand Prince of Transylvania; Margrave of Moravia; Duke of Upper and Lower Silesia, of Modena, Parma, Piacenza and Guastalla, of Auschwitz and Zator, of Teschen, Friuli, Ragusa and Zara; Princely Count of Habsburg and Tyrol, of Kyburg, Gorizia and Gradisca; Prince of Trent and Brixen; Margrave of Upper and Lower Lusatia and in Istria; Count of Hohenems, Feldkirch, Bregenz, Sonnenberg, etc.; Lord of Trieste, of Cattaro, and in the Wendish Mark; Grand Voivode of the Voivodina of Serbia etc. etc.

Not half bad...
